After numerous tests in DMT’s lab-line and now after start up of the first commercial MESIM® line, this equipment can be considered the only one offering simultaneous stretched film production on the highest quality level at minimum production costs for a reasonable investment. Other technologies, like the linear motor system could not succeed in the market due to the extraordinary high investment and operation costs (especially energy consumption) as well the inherent process limitation of such concept. Other mechanical systems designed decades ago can hardly offer the same advantages as MESIM®. Today, simultaneous stretching is applied to produce high end film, e.g. optical grade, thin film and many other types with superior balanced physical properties. Since the film has no contact to any rolls during the stretching process, the optical and film properties can be significantly improved compared to the conventional two step stretching process.Production PrinciplesSimultaneously stretched films are highly valued and reach the highest sales margins, if produced in an economical way. Basically, there are various technologies available to stretch film in MD and TD direction simultaneously: double bubble process, linear motor driven stretching system and mechanical simultaneous stretching technology. Due to high investment, operation costs and process-limitations, the linear motor system largely failed to be accepted in the market starting from its introduction nearly 15 years ago. SPS has invested in additional land of about 150.000 sqm and Mr.Taki, owner and managing director, has decided to invest an amount of 70 Million Euro for the completion of this project. The total project is designed for 2 machines including building, electrics, installation, equipment and auxiliaries to be finalized within the period of the next four years. The complete building will be about 35.000 sqm big to accommodate the lines, the power supply of around 12 MW, and the required personnel of about 400 employees. Isfahan is one of the most important cities in Iran well known as the concentration of all industries, particularly textile and carpet wavers. Mr.Taki possesses two other textile factories, Gol Riss and Rasan Tab, located in the same area. These factories are producing about 17 tons daily of acrylic yarn for the carpet industries.The first line will start-up within the next 18 months with an output capacity of up to 20.000 tpa and the second line with capacity of 25.000 tpa will start 6 months later. SPS has invested in additional land of about 150.000 sqm and Mr.Taki, owner and managing director, has decided to invest an amount of 70 Million Euro for the completion of this project.The total project is designed for 2 machines including building, electrics, installation, equipment and auxiliaries to be finalised within the period of the next four years. The complete building will be about 35.000 sqm big to accommodate the lines, the power supply of around 12 MW,  and the required personnel of about 400 employees.Isfahan is one of the most important cities in Iran well known as the concentration of all industries, particularly textile and carpet wavers. Mr.Taki possesses two other textile factories, Gol Riss and Rasan Tab, located in the same area. These factories are producing about 17 tons daily of acrylic yarn tor the carpet industries. The beginning of this project was solemnly opened in Isfahan on May 10th, by Isfahan Authorities and Minister of Industrial and Mines deputies. The first line started in 1993, the second line in 1995 and the third line in 2003. After having won an international tender in 2006 and being awarded this contract all final formalities and financing issues have been clarified during the last months and the project has now come on full stream. Turkmenneftegas refinery is state owned and the biggest Petrochemical company of Turkmenistan, located on the Caspian see. It has ordered a full BOPP plant (turnkey) for an output of 21.000 tpa. 100% Turnkey Engineering This contract includes everything from the basic equipment for the DMT film stretching line, all peripheric equipment like slitters, metallizers and utilities as well as the building. The contract value of close to 40 Mil. Euros also represents the biggest, ever signed single contract in DMT history. Turkmenneftegas has chosen DMT for reasons of having the most modern lines and equipment today available in the world. Especially with regard to flexibility very much needed in a country where only one line will be satisfying most of demand. Turkmenneftegas refinery being also producer of the raw material sees the project as a an important step of downstream value adding. Co is a leading plastic processor in the Middle East and is part of the TASNEE Group. ROWAD intents to set up a plant with up to 6 BOPP lines in the next years and selected DMT as machine supplier for the first phase on a full turnkey basis. Major Turnkey Project in MexicoAltopro S.A. is located in Mexico and specialized in producing high-quality bi-axially oriented Polypropylene films (BOPP). As the market demand is growing, ALTOPRO sets up a new film manufacturing facility in Queretaro (Mexico) which will double ALTOPRO’s yearly output capacity. The overall investment sum for this project is about 50 Million US$. The new plant is foreseen for three BOPP stretching lines, starting consequently in the next years.  This turnkey project is one of the biggest projects in DMT’s company history.     Turnkey Project - UkraineATEM is an Ukrainian company based near Kiev and operating in several business fields. It has ordered a 7.2 meters, 5-Layers BOPP lines this year as full turnkey project by DMT. The line is ultra-flexible concerning the product range and has an output capacity of 25.500 tpa. It is the first stretching line in Ukraine since 15 years and the most flexible in this region. Turnkey Project - NigeriaDMT will supply a new high-tech BOPP line to Biofilms-Limited Nigeria. This line will have an output capacity of 25.000 tpa. The financing of the investment could be finalized during the K-Show.IndiaRadha Madhav Corporation Ltd. is a leading flexible packaging substrate manufacturer in western India. The company ordered a line to manufacture PVC shrink films from DMT. This will be first line of its kind in India. Radha Madhav Corporation plans to develop many new applications in the field of PVC shrink sleeves.   DMT - Sales Activities in China Paoyan Yan Tsae Yih Co., Ltd.PAO YAN TSAE YIH Co., Ltd is a well-known BOPP film producer in Taiwan and Mainland China. In the past they used BOPP equipment imported from Japan and two lines from a German supplier. Beginning 2007 Paoyan planned to invest in a further high speed BOPP line. In May 2007 they finally decided to order a complete production line from DMT. The new line will be located in Taoyuan Hsien, close to Taipei, Taiwan. Changzhou Yu Xing Electrical Insulation Materials Co.,Ltd.Changzhou Yuxing Electrical Insulation Materials Co., Ltd. is located in the well developed Yangtse Delta. The company is a specialized company to produce thick BOPET film mainly for technical application. In the last years the mother company Changzhou Electrical Insulation Main Works Co., Ltd could establish its market leadership in this niche market. In order to enlarge their company scale and improve the product quality, the company decided to invest in a complete BOPET thickfilm line for optical application. Since DMT is a proven supplier for special film lines, the company decided to order one complete BOPET line from DMT. The contract was signed in June 2007. Zhejiang Yimei Film Industry (Group)Zhejiang Yimei Film Industry (Group) Co. Ltd , as a Sino-foreign joint venture operating two 8.2m BOPP lines imported from a German supplier in 2002 and 2004. Recently Yimei decided to enlarge their business with totally 4 BOPP lines in 2 locations, in Yiwu (Zhejiang Provice) and Huai An City (Jiangsu Province). Both locations are designed for two lines. In August 2007 Yimei ordered two high speed BOPP 8.2m lines from DMT, one line for each location.  Zhejiang Baihui Packaging Co., LtdZhejiang Baihui Packaging Co. Ldt., located in the Jinhua Golden Delta Development Zone, is one of the biggest and most advanced production base with all kinds of general packaging material. To face the growing film packaging demand in Russia, Grinn Plastic has decided to place beginning of 2006, a new order to DMT for the supply of a second BOPP film line specially dedicated to the Russian market with the challenge to put this line in production before the end of the same year. Manufacturing, shipment and installation of the equipment were done in record time, allowing this customer to produce, based on our long fruitful cooperation, the first rolls of qualified films out of the second line long time before the expecting period.
