Mechanical Simultaneous Film Stretching Line - MESIM®. The simultaneous manufacturing process is a one-step stretching process. The film is stretched in the longitudinal and transverse direction at the same time. The MDO and the TDO are combined in one unit. The film has no contact to rolls (which can affect the surface) and is only heated up one time. Simultaneously stretched films are required for some special applications, e.g. films for TFT displays.
